Textile Manufacturing Services & Industrial Capabilities
Quantum is a vertically integrated manufacturer of engineered textiles, performance yarns, and custom woven fabric solutions. Our interconnected manufacturing capabilities allow us to control quality, performance, and scalability from polymer processing and yarn extrusion through finished woven textiles.
This end-to-end model enables Quantum to deliver application-specific solutions for furniture seating, outdoor and stadium environments, industrial and filtration systems, military applications, and automotive transportation

An Integrated Manufacturing Platform Built for Performance
Unlike traditional textile suppliers, Quantum controls the full manufacturing process in-house. This integration allows for tighter tolerances, faster development cycles, and consistent performance across high-volume production programs.
Manufacturing Capabilities Overview

Polymer Processing & Compounding
Custom polymer formulations engineered for durability, flexibility, UV resistance, flame retardancy, and other performance requirements.

Yarn Extrusion
In-house monofilament and multifilament extrusion, including proprietary elastomeric yarn technologies such as 5280™.

Yarn Processing
Air-jet texturing, twisting, and secondary processing to enhance yarn performance, feel, and fabric behavior.

Weaving & Fabrication
Advanced weaving across multiple loom technologies to produce suspension fabrics, technical meshes, and industrial textiles.

Research & Development
Application-driven R&D supporting new product development, performance optimization, and customer-specific solutions.
Fabric & Material Customization Capabilities
Quantum offers advanced fabric and material customization backed by vertically integrated manufacturing and decades of woven textile expertise. Our operations are purpose-built to engineer high-performance elastomeric mesh fabrics, suspension textiles, and technical woven substrates for demanding applications across seating, industrial, filtration, and specialty markets.
Our weaving platform includes a diverse range of standard, dedicated, and custom looms designed to support both high-volume production and highly engineered, application-specific fabrics. This flexibility allows us to develop proprietary constructions for customers requiring precise performance characteristics, complex geometries, or specialized yarn combinations.
Quantum is capable of weaving a wide range of monofilament and multifilament yarns, enabling custom fabric solutions tailored to specific mechanical, environmental, and aesthetic requirements, including:
- 5280™ elastomeric and Hytrel®-based monofilament yarns
- Multifilament PET, nylon, polypropylene, and elastomeric yarns
- Specialty yarns engineered for industrial products, geotextiles, and filtration textiles
- Application-specific yarn systems designed for technical and structural performance
This breadth of yarn compatibility allows us to optimize strength, elasticity, durability, airflow, and long-term performance across a wide range of end uses.
We support an extensive range of color and design options, including the ability to extrude custom solution-dyed yarn colors and weave customer-specific fabric designs, patterns, and constructions. Color matching is available to meet brand, aesthetic, or functional requirements, with defined minimums and setup considerations.
All fabric customization is supported by in-house design, engineering, and development teams who collaborate closely with customers from concept through production. This integrated approach allows Quantum to rapidly prototype, refine, and scale woven solutions that align with performance requirements, manufacturing constraints, and long-term program goals.

Supporting Industry-Specific Solutions
Quantum’s manufacturing capabilities directly support our Industry Solutions, allowing us to engineer materials that meet real-world performance demands.

Engineered to Perform. Built to Scale.
Quantum partners with manufacturers who require engineered textile solutions, not commodity fabrics.
