QS2™ is Quantum’s proprietary platform of elastomeric woven suspension fabrics engineered for ergonomic support, breathability, and long-term durability. QS2 fabrics are used as primary load-bearing surfaces in seating and structural applications—replacing foam, metal springs, and heavier support systems.

What Are Elastomeric Woven Suspension Fabrics?
QS2 fabrics are fully woven (not knitted) suspension textiles that combine:
- Elastomeric warp yarns for strength and recovery
- Multifilament weft yarns for comfort, color, and design
The result is a fabric that flexes and conforms under load while maintaining dimensional stability over time.
5280™ Elastomeric Monofilament Yarn
At the core of QS2™ is 5280™, Quantum’s proprietary elastomeric monofilament yarn used in the warp direction across all QS2 fabrics.
5280™ provides:
